Hammermill

The Hammermill produced by Ca.Re.Di s.r.l. is a machine especially used in industrial plants for grinding products for animal feed (mills, animal feed, etc.) and some plants for milling by-products. The operation of the Grinder is based on the principle of crushing the product by the impact of the hammers on the material. The Grinder is essentially composed of a grinding chamber (case) , in which a rotating impeller fitted with discs bearing several rows of beaters articulated (hammers). The rows are offset from one another so that the product, if it does not fall within the scope of the hammers of a row, can be crushed and pulverized by the hammers of the next row.

The crushed product, reached the desired degree of fineness, exits through the grid of semi-cylindrical shape (sieve) mounted in the bottom of the case. The flour, so separate falls into the hopper below to be aspirated from the pneumatic transport or by another kind of conveyor like as screw conveyor, or chain conveyor.
